Dear Border Church Family, 

This week we are in our regular venue at the CWA Hall at 169 Griffith Street, Coolangatta (next to the Pink Hotel). Parking is available on Griffith and Boundary streets and Marine Pde. 

If you know people whose churches are going to be closed for New Year please invite them to Border Church this week and next for fellowship. 

If you are travelling this holiday season please be safe on the roads. Our prayers are going up for everyone who is going places. 

Border Church this week

As this Saturday is New Year's Eve, we will be doing something very special. Our first session from will feature a special guest speaker who will look at how this coming New Year brings us one year closer to Jesus' coming. I look forward to being inspired for 2023. 

After this, we are going to have an special period of dedication and anointing where we will pray over 2023 and dedicate it to Jesus. If you would like special prayer for your coming year and to dedicate your year to Jesus, please come and let us pray together over each other's lives.

We always have a healthy vegetarian fellowship lunch after Church. This week we will be having nachos/haystacks and all are welcome to join us. We look forward to spending this family time with you. 

News

Our Border Church App will launch in the next two weeks and we will be using this as a hub for a lot of what we will be doing in our community going forward.

Regular programing

If you or anyone you know would like to start a Discovery Bible Reading group, we would be happy to equip and support you in this. 

We run I AM small groups on a regular basis and if you would like help hosting one for your friends or loved ones to discover Jesus, please let us know. 

Prayer meetings are on Wednesdays at 2:30pm QLD/3:30pm NSW at 179 Botanical Circuit, Banora Point. Please message me or speak to Lorraine if you have any prayer requests we can add to our list. You can contribute towards our community outreach in our tithes and offerings box or online through various options on our website at https://border.church/give 

If you would like to give to our building upgrade fund, please mark your offering for this purpose. We will be sharing in some of the costs of upgrading the CWA hall so that we can have some dedicated storage for Border Church as well as insulation to reduce some of the noise and echo in the hall.
