Dear Border Church Family, 

This week we are in our regular venue at the CWA Hall at 169 Griffith Street, Coolangatta. Parking is available on Griffith and Boundary streets and Marine Pde. 

Border Church this week.

This week during our Bible marking we will cover the topic of Heaven. This is such a beautiful study as we look forward to our home during the millennium. 

For our main study, I will be starting a multi-part series on the most well-known verse in the Bible - John 3:16. The first in this series is called "So loved..."    

As with every week we will be having a healthy vegetarian lunch. Please come and share a meal and fellowship and if you like you can bring something to contribute. Our theme this week is poke bowls. 

Last weekend

Last Saturday afternoon we had such a fun, special day combining in unity with various Churches in the area to bless the community. God came through so much with the weather. We stepped into the Jordan and God made a way. Adrian and I were able to build a connection to the owner of the sheep aftewards and he is willing to give us a lamb each year for this event. It is already decided that next year we will also be in the first Saturday in December. 

Thank you for everyone who packed hampers on Sunday. These have been a real blessing to the community.

This weekend

This Sunday I will be attending the Tweed Heads Presbyterian Church which meets at 10:30am NSW time, there is a baptism afterwards at 12:30pm at Jack Evans Boat Harbour for Pat, a great guy I have come to know from Pacific Coast school.

This Sunday evening at 5pm NSW time there is going to be a combined praise and worship session with various Churches coming together in the Tweed. The venue has changed and will now be at St Joseph's in the location that Kingdom Life meets in. Please come and join us as we worship together in unity! Another session will also be held next Sunday evening the 18th.

Christmas is just around the corner. If you are travelling please be safe on the roads. Our prayers are going up for everyone who is going places. If anyone is not going to have anywhere to celebrate Christmas or wishes to open their home to someone this Christmas for a fellowship meal please let us know. 

If you listen to Juice 107.3 fm, you might start hearing this radio spot in the lead up to Christmas.

Regular programing

If you or anyone you know would like to start a Discovery Bible Reading group, we would be happy to equip and support you in this. 

We run I AM small groups on a regular basis and if you would like help hosting one for your friends or loved ones to discover Jesus, please let us know. 

Prayer meetings are on Wednesdays at 2:30pm QLD/3:30pm NSW at 179 Botanical Circuit, Banora Point. Please message me or speak to Lorraine if you have any prayer requests we can add to our list.
