Dear Border Church Family,

This week we are in our regular venue at the CWA Hall at 169 Griffith Street, Coolangatta. Parking is available on Griffith and Boundary streets and Marine Pde.

Border Church this week.

This week we are going to have an extended single service, with some additional praise and prayers and testimonies instead of Bible marking. The reason for this is we will be having lunch a bit earlier so we can get out and participate in the Combined Churches Family Fun Day.

For our main study, I will be wrapping up the series on James and Galatians with an epilogue looking at the council of Acts 15 titled, "No greater burden". This is one of the most misunderstood chapters in the New Testament. We will be able to take what we have learned from our studies in James and Galatians to enlighten us on this event where it all came to a head.

As with every week we will be having a healthy vegetarian lunch. Please come and share a meal and fellowship and if you like you can bring something to contribute. Our theme this week is haystacks/nachos.

Last weekend combined service.

Last Sunday, Border Church combined with King Jesus, Kingdom Life and Living Waters Churches. It was hosted by Kingdom Life over at St Joseph's College. We had such a beautiful and special time of fellowship. My message, 'Armour is for Armies' can be found below for those who missed it -

This weekend

Directly after Church this Saturday December 3, Border Church will be joining together with about a dozen other churches to put on a community fun day in the park behind Twin Towns. This event begins at 2pm NSW time (1pm QLD time). Please come and join us in getting to know our community. The more people there, the more we can connect with the wider community.

If you would like to help pack holiday hampers on Sunday December 4, in the morning, please let me know and we will direct you of where you can pitch in for this.

Coming soon!

There are Combined Church worship services coming up on the evenings of Sunday December 11 and 18. Gold Coast Chapel worship team will be coming to lead out in our worship. The venue for this is going to be 8 Boyd St, Tweed Heads.

If you listen to Juice 107.3 fm radio station leading up to Christmas you will hear a radio spot I recorded this week on behalf of Border Church to the Gold Coast. There will be additional partnership coming between Border Church and Juice 107.3 in the near future...
