Dear Border Church Family,

IMPORTANT! BACK IN THE PARK! Tomorrow we expect to be back in the park at Jack Evans Boat Harbour. This is behind Twin Towns there is ample parking along Coral Street. Remember our new time is 9:30am QLD/10:30am NSW.

Over the next two weekends we will be celebrating one year of Border Church. Our theme will be Future Freedom. We are wanting to reflect on the freedom that is ours in Jesus. We are wanting to start painting our vision for the next year of our mission in this community as well.

We will be celebrating in the morning and afternoon tomorrow, with a surprise appearance by EDGAR - an 8 meter inflatable statue. Come and check it out. Our topics will be a run through of chapters 1-3 of the book of Daniel, looking at Freedom and our Body, Freedom and the Future and Freedom and Conscience. Next weekend, Graham Hood will be with us for Friday night and Saturday. Friday evening at 6pm QLD/7pm NSW time we will be in the CWA Hall where there will be time for a meet and greet with Graham as well as exploring the topic of Freedom from Fear, looking at Daniel chapter 6. Next Saturday we will look at how Freedom will eventually win and Graham Hood will present the Gospel with an appeal. There will be a baptism in the afternoon.

Amazingly, independent of our event, there is a rally that has been planned at the border monument during the lunch break next Saturday. We will have an opportunity to mingle with the rally attendees and invite them over to see Graham Hood. Our goal is to make connections and invite people into small groups so we can build community. Anyone interested in studying what God has to say about the times we are living in through the books of Daniel and Revelation will have options for joining group or individual Bible studies starting after our event.

Our lunch for both weekends is a BYO picnic. Bring a picnic lunch for yourselves and enough to share in case others haven't brought any.

Next Sunday, October 23, will be our next Sunday Funday. Please set it aside in your diaries to invite others. These are great opportunities to invite people to for building relationships with the community.
