I hope you have all had an amazing week. Last week was such a high occasion as we participated in the Lord's Supper and then celebrated on Sunday with a really enjoyable day at Janine's. Thanks so much Janine for inviting us. (The next Sunday Funday will be October 23, so mark your calendars!)
We have had an outpouring of blessings. The first news is that we have a new website. You can go to http://border.church to check this website out. We are also working on developing a church app that will integrate with the website which you can have on your phone. This will streamline a lot of our tasks and I will tell more about this package tomorrow. The best news is that the company who provides these services, tithe.ly, will be providing these services to us for one year at no charge because we are a Church plant. This is a massive blessing for us.
Our Bible Marking this week looks at the Little Horn power in Daniel 7. This is going to be a very interesting discussion. We will be in the CWA Hall at 169 Griffith Street, Coolangatta. Parking can be found on Griffith and Boundary streets as well as on Marine Parade.
Our main study will look at the all important passage of Galatians 3. This one gets to the heart of Paul's message, though there are many places we can misunderstand what he is trying to say. I look forward to exploring this with you all.
This week we are having poke bowls for lunch. YUM! Soon all lunches will be on our calendar weeks in advance on the website, including recipes, menus and eventually videos of how to prepare various dishes.
This is the final week of regular time. With daylights savings beginning next week, we will straddle our current 10am time. From next week we will be meeting at 9:30am QLD and 10:30am NSW time, unless there is a special event.
