Dear Border Church Family,
As usual, this week we will be in our regular location at 169 Griffith Street, Coolangatta. Parking can be found on Griffith and Boundary streets as well as on Marine Parade.
Our discipleship session starts at 10am with Bible Marking on the topic of the subject of death, part 2. Last week we looked at the plain teaching about death and the resurrection and this week we will explore a handful of verses that seem to say something different. For our main service we have a special guest speaker who will be sharing his testimony called, The Journey Home.
For lunch we will be having haystacks/nachos. Join us for a healthy lunch to share in fellowship.
Weather permitting, we will be meeting in the park for the first time since winter on Saturday 24th with another guest speaker. We are also planning our first Sunday Funday for Spring on Sunday, September 25. If you want a day of fellowship and fun in the pool or at mini golf, along with a sausage sizzle and punch, please mark that in your diaries. I will send out a flyer next week.
Prayer meetings are on Wednesdays at 2pm at 179 Botanical Circuit, Banora Point. Please message me or speak to Lorraine if you have any prayer requests we can add to our list. We will be also hoping that people can join via Zoom if they wish to pray with us. All are welcome to join as we pray for our community and upcoming projects.
This Sunday we will be having a vision meeting for our leadership team at 2pm also at 179 Botanical Circuit, Banora Point. All are welcome to have a voice as we continue planning our coming outreach in October. I visited with Graham Hood this week and will have some updates to share.
