Dear Border Church Family,
The Will Graham lookup celebration is upon us so we are taking Church to a mega-regional day with Christians and Churches from across Brisbane, Logan, Redland, Ipswich, Scenic Rim, Gold Coast and Tweed. Praise God for the united proclamation of the Gospel. May the Kingdom grow and the light shine! We will be back in our usual location next week.
Border Church this Week - Special Excursion
In the morning we will air a special worship and Bible study live on Facebook and Youtube from our home studio for those who wish to follow along at home. This will air at approximately 10am. We will be able to handle live comments and questions if people wish to follow live.
At 2:30pm, those who have signed up are to meet at Vibe Church, 3 Beryl Street, Tweed Heads for the bus to the Will Graham Lookup Celebration. We have some spare seats due to a couple of people sick so please come. If we need to we will take additional cars to the event. Please pray for the Holy Spirit to pour out on this event and for lives to be changed and commitments made for the kingdom.
Border Church Next Week
Next week we continue our new series, "What the Hell: The Nine Sermons", looking at life, death and the afterlife. We will explore the Biblical teaching on the resurrection of the saints and the resurrection of the wicked, probably one of the most neglected of all the major, clear teachings of the Bible due to the popular errors such as immortality of the soul and a conscious intermediate state.
Kids/Youth Church will be running for the time that the service is on, directly after the worship.

This Weekend
Tonight at Border Youth we are going to be having some indoor and outdoor games in the early evening and then a special interactive worship and a special Discovery Bible reading. Border Youth is from 5:30-7:30pm.
The combined churches Epic Youth is having its last week of the term. This term's flyer can be found below. Please share with any young people who might like to attend. The location is at the Tweed Presbyterian Hall on the corner of Wharf and Florence streets, Tweed Heads.

Weekly meetings
Wednesday Prayer Meeting
Prayer meetings are on Wednesdays at 3pm at 179 Botanical Circuit, Banora Point. Please message me or speak to Lorraine if you have any prayer requests we can add to our list. All are welcome to join as we pray for our community and upcoming projects.
Sealed & Revealed
Season 2 of Sealed & Revealed has begun with a Zoom session on Wednesdays at 6pm. In this series we will look at the New Testament interpretation of apocalyptic prophecies (minus the book of Revelation) to explore how the Apostles projected forward their expectations of the end times.

Bible Discovery Groups
For 2024, make it a resolution to begin or to join at least one Discovery Bible Reading Group. They are super simple to do and a great way to learn in community with others, especially those new to the Bible. You can get something out of this no matter what level you are at. We would love to show you how to lead one of these groups simply. Please let us know if you would like to start one.
Other worship opportunities
We run Alpha small groups on a regular basis and if you would like help hosting one for your friends or loved ones to discover Jesus and the basics of the Bible, please let us know.
