Dear Border Church Family,
This week we will be having Church in our regular venue at the QCWA Hall at 169 Griffith Street, Coolangatta. Parking can be found on Griffith and Boundary Streets as well as on Marine Parade. For shaded parking you can park under Twin Towns. We will be meeting at 10am and look forward to spending time with you.
This week we continue our new series, "What the Hell: The Nine Sermons", looking at life, death and the afterlife. In this fourth sermon we will explore what the Parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus. Is this a parable about the afterlife? Or is it about something else? What details in this parable made it the most scandalous story Jesus told?
Kids/Youth Church will be running for the time that the service is on, directly after the worship.

Tonight our older Border Youth will be join hundreds of Youth from all over the Gold Coast at the Youth Alive! United We Stand event at the Dream Centre Church in Nerang. We are driving a bus leaving at 5pm from 12 Glebe Place, Banora Point and will arrive back at about 9:45pm.
The combined churches Epic Youth is back on tonight for our younger kids. This term's flyer can be found below. Please share with any young people who might like to attend. The location is at the Tweed Presbyterian Hall on the corner of Wharf and Florence streets, Tweed Heads.
Sunday night is the combined churches worship for the Murwillumbah Churches Together. This month All Saints Anglican is hosting at 26-30 Byangum Road at 6pm.
On June 29 we will not be holding Church in the morning, though we will stream a message online for those who join us for worship each week. Instead, we will be focusing our efforts on attending and bringing friends to the Will Graham Lookup Celebration in the evening.

Wednesday Prayer Meeting
Prayer meetings are on Wednesdays at 3pm at 179 Botanical Circuit, Banora Point. Please message me or speak to Lorraine if you have any prayer requests we can add to our list. All are welcome to join as we pray for our community and upcoming projects.
Sealed & Revealed
Season 2 of Sealed & Revealed has begun with a Zoom session on Wednesdays at 6pm. In this series we will look at the New Testament interpretation of apocalyptic prophecies (minus the book of Revelation) to explore how the Apostles projected forward their expectations of the end times.

For 2024, make it a resolution to begin or to join at least one Discovery Bible Reading Group. They are super simple to do and a great way to learn in community with others, especially those new to the Bible. You can get something out of this no matter what level you are at. We would love to show you how to lead one of these groups simply. Please let us know if you would like to start one.
Other worship opportunities
We run Alpha small groups on a regular basis and if you would like help hosting one for your friends or loved ones to discover Jesus and the basics of the Bible, please let us know.
